A bank wire transfer is required for any invoices over $2,000. Invoices under $2,000 are automatically debited when the sale ends from the credit or debit card the buyer registered with. A 6% buyers fee and $25 per vehicle/item fee is added to each invoice.

The vehicles are sold as is, where is with no guarantee or warranty.
Unless stated otherwise vehicles come with Bill of Sale Only. Paperwork to apply for a title is purchased from the tow lot for $50 CASH. **You take this paperwork to the DMV to obtain a title from the state. If you are not a Kansas resident and are not familiar with requirements or restrictions in your state regarding this, please contact your state regarding the paperwork prior to bidding.
Payment for Purchase: Funds are automatically debited from the bidders registered debit/credit card up to $2,000. If over $2,000. funds must be wired day of sale by 3PM CDT
All pickups require appointments in person with photo ID and form of payment used. If sending an agent funds must be wired and LOA to release vehicle must be sent. An appointment is still required. If the appointment is missed it must be rescheduled.
Pick up appointment are Thursday and Friday auction week only. After that storage fees of $25 per day will be added per calendar day.

Vehicles sold to the highest bidder for possessory lien. Vehicles come with a bill of sale, unless stated otherwise. Paperwork to apply for a title is $50 paid directly to the tow lot in cash. This provides you with the paperwork to take to the DMV to obtain a title. PLEASE NOTE: If not Kansas residents please contact your state regarding paperwork prior to bidding. A $25 per vehicle fee plus a 6% buyer's premium is applied to every purchase which is auto debited at the end of the sale or wired funds may be required -see details.

Preview *by appointment* at the tow lot available after photos and videos are posted by calling the tow lot at 913-371-1000 New bidders must confirm the following:
They are over 18 years old with a state issued legal photo ID or driver's license. They must register with a credit card that matches their ID
They must have the funds on that card to purchase the vehicle before bidding. See terms and conditions regarding purchases over $3,000 or out of area bidders.
They acknowledge funds will be automatically debited from their card at the end of the sale if they are the high bidder.
Total includes the purchase price a 6% Buyer's fee and a $25 per vehicle fee.
If funds are not available, the bidder will be banned from all future auctions, and we will choose to go to the backup bidder at our discretion.
PLEASE NOTE: THE VEHICLES DO NOT COME WITH A TITLE AT PURCHASE.
You are given a Bill of Sale. Paperwork to apply for a title is available from All City Tow for $50. It is paid directly to the tow lot when the vehicle is picked up, not the auction company. Please note some items may be noted Bill of Sale Only, which indicates you will not be able to get a title.
The paperwork you are given is what is to be taken to the DMV when you register the vehicle. Please contact your local DMV PRIOR TO BIDDING if you are not familiar with this process, especially if you are not a Kansas resident and will be registering the vehicle in another state.
The tow lot does not guarantee a title for the vehicle. Please check with your local Motor Vehicle registration department to find out what they might require prior to bidding.
Vehicles may be removed from the sale prior to close at the tow lot's necessity.
Vehicles must be picked up by appointment by the allotted time. Please be considerate and keep your appointment. "Walk ins" are not allowed.
The buyer must pick the item up in person unless an agent is picking up for them.
This is ONLY allowed if funds are wired-not if paying with a credit card. We require written authorization in the form of an email. The agent must bring copies of required paperwork, buyers ID and authorization as well
In addition to this the buyer confirms they have read and will abide by the terms and conditions for the sale-see terms and conditions section.
THE AUCTION PROCESS:
Register Online with a valid credit or debit card. All information must match your I.D.
Funds must be available before bidding. Please contact your financial institution or credit card company to assure the funds are available.
Preview vehicles online and by appointment at the tow lot (call 913-371-1000 for appointment).
It is your responsibility to inspect the vehicle and review paperwork/VIN information.
Bid on vehicles starting at 10 AM the Friday prior to the sale close until the sale starts closing in lot order at 10 AM on the auction day.
At that time bidding goes to live mode and will continue until no bid has been placed then it will count down and sell to the highest bidder (soft close). See terms and conditions regarding more information.
After all vehicles are closed the auction will close and all credit and debit cards under $2,000 will be processed. If you need to pay with wire instructions will be emailed to you at that time.
A 6% buyer's premium and $25 processing fee will be added to each vehicle purchased.
Please plan accordingly.
Out of town bidders and those over $2,000 should have already planned arrangements with the auction company to wire funds.
No exceptions. Please have your funds ready. You are required to pay immediately after the auction as stated.
After payment is made the auction company will email the successful bidder their paid invoice.
AFTER 1:00 PM the bidders can call All City Tow at 913-371-1000 to schedule a pickup.
The buyer must appear in person with the form of payment used (their credit or debit card, their original driver's license, or legal photo ID-No copies. This is for verification purposes.
The buyer is strongly encouraged to purchase the paperwork to apply for a title at that time-$50. You will need this to register the vehicle when you go to your DMV. They require this is paid with cash. They no longer will take credit or debit cards for paperwork. Delay will increase the fee for the paperwork.

CREATING A HIBID ACCOUNT:
At the top right corner of the hiattauction.hibid.com page:
1. Click login/new bidder at the top of the current auctions screen.
2. Click on the "NEW BIDDER" button to register.
3. You will be asked to enter your email and confirm your email. Each email can only have one account.
4. Next enter your personal information and create a username and password. (Please keep your password in a safe place that you can find it. Password is case sensitive.
5. Once you have created an account you will be able to login to your new account. Once you have done that you can register for the auction.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are a first-time bidder with Hiatt Auction Online your status will be pending and your bids will not be authorized until we have spoken to you and confirmed information. Please feel free to contact us at 913-271-3045 as well so we can authorize your registration to bid.

THERE IS A $25 ADMIN FEE PER VEHICLES AND A 6% BUYER'S PREMIUM FOR TOTAL INVOICE ON ALL PURCHASES.
When registering your credit card will be verified and a preapproval may be made to confirm that funds will be available if you are the successful bidder.
Successful bidders will be invoiced when all lots are clerked at the end of the auction. All invoice totals under $2000 will immediately be processed. Please contact your financial institution in case you may need to place a temporary approval on your card for the transaction.
There are no cancellations, chargebacks, or refunds at this auction.
If the purchase is over $2,000 OR if you an out of area bidder you will be required to complete a wire transfer from your bank as soon as sale ends and no later than 3PM sale day. Please plan with your financial institution in advance. Wire instructions can be emailed on request.
You must contact your bank 24 hours prior to bidding to avoid any complications.
